Professional development workshops
It is important that the overall quality of childcare is maintained and we continue to help educators build on their experience and knowledge. To achieve this, four professional development sessions each year which will include subject matter experts presenting on course topics chosen by the childcare industry, based on the needs of educators. These sessions will foster collaborative learning, and be made local, available and accessible.
Do I qualify?
To qualify to attend a professional development session, the participant must:
- Be an existing educator working in the long day care or family day care sectors in Gladstone.
- Be studying Children’s Services ( Certificate III, Diploma or B.Ed (Early Childhood) ) at CQU
