Here for Gladstone

Rio Tinto, BSL and QAL have led the charge in Gladstone to protect and support people impacted by family violence. In 2018, we received a White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation for taking active steps in the workplace to stop violence against women. More recently we piloted bystander training with the aim of helping our community identify the signs of abuse and how to intervene safely. Here for Gladstone has separately committed funding to raise awareness and educate the community through the MENter programme.  Designed to help people understand what an equal and healthy relationship looks like, the programme helps people develop self awareness and adopt tools to change their behaviour.
